Michael Mukasa appointed CEO of Liquid Intelligent Technologies Uganda

Liquid Intelligent Technologies (Liquid) a business of Cassava Technologies, a pan-African technology group, is pleased to announce the appointment of Michael Mukasa as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Liquid Intelligent Technologies Uganda, effective 16 October 2023.

With a distinguished career spanning over 15 years in the telecommunications sector across Africa and the United States, Michael brings a wealth of experience and expertise to Liquid Uganda’s operations.

“Michael’s extensive industry experience, financial acumen, and his ability to build and nurture valuable relationships make him a strong asset to the Liquid Uganda team. We are excited to welcome him on board and are confident that his leadership will bring innovation and growth to Liquid Uganda, benefiting both customers and the Ugandan telecommunications industry as a whole,” says Adil El Youssefi, Liquid Intelligent Technologies CEO, Rest of Africa.

Before joining Liquid Uganda, Michael served as the Chief Commercial Officer at Uganda’s Roke Telkom, where he played a crucial role in developing and expanding the company’s existing business operations. His wide-ranging experience spans technical, commercial, and operational disciplines, having held senior leadership positions in all three areas for prominent international businesses in the US, Rwanda, and Uganda.

Michael has a proven track record in cultivating strong stakeholder relationships and skilfully managing contract negotiations within the telecommunications industry. An avid football fan and part-time farmer, his qualifications include an MSc. in Electronic Commerce and a BSc. in Finance and International Business from the University of Maryland.
