Sanjay founded Zanlink 22 years ago and led it by providing Vision, direction, and belief to become the leading ISP in Zanzibar.
He is a dynamic, results-oriented leader with 22 years of strong track record of performance in both for – profit and non – profit organizations. He utilizes keen analysis, insights, and team approach to drive organizational growth. Among his areas of emphasis are Strategic Planning, developing Policy & Procedures, Team Building & Performance Improvement, Revenue growth, Human Resources Management, General Management, Relationship Management, Business & technology alignment, and Business Development.
Prior to finding Zanlink, Sanjay was an assistant Director at the Zanzibar Information Technology Center, a project aimed to promote the use of IT for development purpose in Zanzibar. Sanjay has also worked at the NGO Resource Center, a project established by the Aga Khan Foundation to build the capacity of the Civil Society Organizations (NGOs, CBOs) in Zanzibar.
Sanjay holds an MBA from the Rhodes Business School in South Africa.
Sanjay is married and has 2 kids. In his personal time, he enjoys watching football, reading, outdoor activities as well as spending quality time with his family.
