Lauren is our General Counsel, providing expert legal advice and support to all areas of the organisation. She joined Liquid Intelligent Technologies in July 2018 as Group Counsel and has since managed a variety of cross border legal matters, including M&As, joint ventures and corporate finance.
Lauren previously was the General Counsel at Lonrho Plc in London; an investment management company listed on the main board of the LSE with a focus on diverse sectors in Africa (airlines, hotels, logistics and agriculture). Lauren began her career as a Paralegal for Linklaters in the UK, and has also spent time working as an attorney in medium sized law firm in Johannesburg and Mauritius.
Lauren is a dual qualified attorney in England & Wales and South Africa and has a law degree (LLB) from Rhodes University.
