Joel Musoko Kayembe currently serves as Acting Chief Financial Officer, bringing nearly a decade of finance leadership experience across Telco, Fintech, FMCG, and Data Center. He has held roles in listed companies such as Vodacom, Heineken, Open Access Data Center, and Vodacash with expertise spanning operational finance, financial controls, reporting, ERP transformation, and strategic support to executive teams.
He holds a Bachelor Degree in Economics from the Protestant University in Congo and several Certificates: Financial Modeling & Valuation Analyst (FMVA®) designation from the Corporate Finance Institute, Accountancy Certificate in International Financial Reporting from ACCA UK, IFRS and additional credentials in Strategic Finance, ESG, and Transformative Leadership. He also completed an advanced transformation leadership program led by Professor Shamila Singh at the University of Johannesburg, enhancing his influence, negotiation, and change management skills.
As a strategic finance leader, Joel focuses on aligning financial performance with long-term value creation. His work drives transformation initiatives integrating IFRS and OHADA compliance, digital finance, and ERP optimization through platforms such as SAP and Microsoft Dynamics 365. He is committed to building finance functions that reinforce governance and accuracy while enabling data-driven, sustainable, and strategic decision-making.
