Boyd Chislett is the Chief Commercial Officer at Cassava Technologies South Africa, overseeing the South African and Botswana Markets across the Cassava Businesses of Liquid Intelligent Technologies, Africa Data Centres, Liquid C2, Compute AI and Sasai payment solutions.
Boyd’s track record spans some 30 years, with a focus on managing large Organisations, multi-channel sales organisations, complex geographic territories, and operations.
Boyd joined Liquid SA in April 2021 after spending 4 years in the UAE as Executive Vice President, Sales Operations, for Mubadala, the UAE Sovereign Wealth Fund, managing the Group’s Satellite assets and Commercial operations across 35 countries in Africa, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia.
Prior to joining Mubadala, Boyd was the Chief Executive Officer of Altech Autopage Cellular, a Cellular Service provider serving over 1 million customers in South Africa, Altech Technology Concepts, the Altron Group’s ISP, as well as a Mobile Money startup called Eyenza Mobile Money, all within the Altron Group’s Telecommunications and IT cluster.
Boyd’s career in Telecommunications and IT was founded on a 15-year tenure at the MTN Group, spanning Sales Management, Operations, and senior General Management roles in South Africa.
As a graduate of the Harvard Business School in the USA, Boyd’s interests primarily extend into Road and MTB cycling, running, golf and travelling with his wife and twin girls.
