Appointed CEO in April 2026 after serving as Acting CEO since November 2025, Bernard Beya brings over 20 years of leadership experience in the telecommunications sector, with deep expertise in the Congolese market.
He joined Liquid Telecom RDC in September 2022 as Chief Financial Officer, where he led transformative initiatives, including:
- Reducing operational costs by 40–60% while maintaining business continuity
- Restoring positive cash flow through optimized working capital management
- Strengthening billing systems, collections, and internal controls
Prior to Liquid, Bernard held senior roles at leading telecom companies including Tigo/Millicom and Orange, where he played a key role in the Tigo–Orange merger. He also served as Director of Finance and Administration at Orange Money RDC.
Bernard holds a Master’s degree in Business Management and Corporate Law from the University of Liège and a Bachelor’s degree in Commercial and Financial Management from the Haute École de Commerce de Kinshasa. He is also a Certified Microfinance Expert from the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management.
