Joab is the Head of Finance at Liquid Intelligent Technologies Uganda, having joined us in March 2021. He is responsible for all aspects of the company’s financial activities including: funding, taxation, financial controls, the preparation of annual financial statements among others.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (Accounting Option) from Makerere University with full ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) Qualification.
His areas of expertise include Financial Reporting, Treasury, Taxation, Cost and Management accounting with experience gained from the Telecom and Manufacturing Industries.
Prior to joining Liquid Intelligent Technologies Uganda, he served as the Finance Manager – Airtel Money Business; Head Financial Reporting – Airtel Uganda Limited; Ag Financial Controller – Airtel Uganda Limited; Financial Reporting Manager at Airtel Rwanda (on secondment). Financial Accountant at World Vision International (Uganda Office) and Treasury & Cost Accountant (Manufacturing) at Nile Breweries Limited -Jinja
